Sudan Willing to Accept U.N. Peacekeepers

The BBC is reporting today that the Sudanese government is finally willing to accept a U.N. peacekeeping force to help quell the violence in Darfur. Let's hope this is true...

If true this represents a significant breakthrough. I just hope it's followed through and that it actually makes a difference to those that need it most. I think the emphasis now needs to move to ensuring all sides keep their promises and also towards increasing the humanitarian aid effort.

sudan is not going to make any deals. al-bashir is racking up the bucks so he can go hide out after this is all over with and millions are dead.

I dont think this is true.
The Sudanese government is known for dishonoring many promises and deals.
If the int'l community is concerned, then they can support n fund the AU troops.
